About Us
The idea of Sissy’s was born from a love of a first job, and a love of sisters. Emilie and Hanna Ritz are three years apart in age, but so similar in mind. When Emilie began her first job at a snowcone stand in her high school days, Hanna shortly followed in her footsteps. They would work side by side until Emilie left for college. She would eventually transfer to Oklahoma State University, bringing the sweet snowcones with her. Here she would meet her best friend, Stevie Burries, who had a love for adventure and wedding cake snowcones. Emilie managed the snowcone location in Stillwater, with Stevie making countless orders alongside her. Hanna would begin to learn the management side of the business as well, as she got her hand into multiple locations back in the girls’ hometown. The three girls are always thinking of grand ideas for adventures together, and opening a business has always been at the top of their list. With their love of the sweet treats and Northwest Arkansas, Sissy’s was a no brainer.

Emilie Chasteen
Emilie is our resident genius. An Oklahoma State engineering graduate turned Client Manager at J.B Hunt. She loves traveling (to new spots and revisiting her favorites), trying new restaurants, and spending quality time with friends and family, especially her husband and puppy, Sadie. Her perfect day in NWA consists of going to the farmers market, a coffee from Arsaga, hiking in Devil’s Canyon, and topping it off with a beverage at Crisis Brewing.

Hanna Ritz
Hanna, the youngest sister, has business acumen beyond her years. She just graduated from the University of Arkansas and now will pursue a Master’s in Accountancy (which she practices often while running the books at Sissy’s). She has become “the face” of Sissy’s since she spends so much of her time at the stand making sure everything runs like clockwork. Hanna is our gym queen and much like her sister, she enjoys traveling while grabbing a bite from a local spot with family and friends.

Stevie Burries
Stevie is our creative - the pen and paintbrush behind Sissy’s. She graduated from Oklahoma State with a Studio Arts degree and now works as the Ops Team Lead at an outdoor advertising agency, Idea Ranch. You can find Stevie running around NWA with an Onyx iced coffee in hand looking for good thrift finds and the best candles at the farmers market. She loves live music and traveling, especially when they’re paired with friends and an ice cold beer.
